being thankful for both

thank you oh Lord, for your generosity

but also, thank you for the reminder that indeed

for granting wishes

without you all things can spiral out of control and

like relief from the rain

that we need to remember our priorities

like little things that count

never forgetting that You control all things

like hugs and smiles

and nothing occurs that is beyond your control

that while the world is imperfect

or without your grace and love

there are moments of pure perfection

because You are perfect
